The Government of India has selected Malayalam actor Mohanlal for the Dadasaheb Phalke Award 2023. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting announced this decision on Saturday through their official X account. The Selection Committee recommended Mohanlal for his outstanding contributions to Indian cinema. The award ceremony will take place during the 71st National Film Awards on September 23, 2025.
