Moved to FL Studio from Ableton. Tips?

Just switched to FL Studio after using Ableton for years. I love the piano roll, but the overall workflow feels really different (especially automation). Do any other Ableton users have advice on making the transition to FL Studio smoother? What do you miss? What do you love?

Welcome! The most significant thing to unlearn is the Session/Arrangement view split. In FL Studio, the Playlist is the arrangement of tracks. Treat "Patterns" like clips. The big win is automation. Right-click any knob and "Create automation clip." It places it right in the playlist. It feels a bit awkward at first, but it's significantly faster than Ableton's automation lanes. The FL Studio piano roll will spoil you.
