Mozambique President Throws Cash Lifeline to Malawi

Mozambique President Daniel Francisco Chapo wants better business ties with Malawi. He spoke to company leaders from both countries during a meeting held at Lilongwe. Chapo promised his government will make it easier for businesses to work across borders. The president believes stronger trade partnerships will help both nations grow their economies. His administration plans to focus on transport, tourism, farming, energy and infrastructure projects.

Chapo praised the friendship between Malawi and Mozambique that has lasted 50 years. He said both countries must keep talking and working together on shared goals. The president stressed that cooperation benefits citizens through more jobs and business opportunities. Trade Minister Vitumbiko Mumba welcomed the partnership discussions from the Malawian side. He believes these talks will create real business deals that improve lives for ordinary people.
