MTN SASE Puts Post Bank Ahead in Digital Race

MTN Uganda helped Post Bank work better with new tech called SASE Business. The system makes banking safer across branches after six months of testing. Post Bank became the first bank in Uganda to use this technology.

Bank officials praised the system's ability to keep their network running smoothly. It allows automatic backup connections when problems occur. MTN changed from selling phone services to offering advanced computer solutions for businesses.

Edgar Ntwali from Post Bank said the system changed their daily work. Ibrahim Senyonga of MTN explained that they tested everything carefully with their partner Huawei. The bank can now monitor all its branches from one screen.

Janey Nakato, Post Bank's tech leader, said the bank planned to become more digital several years ago. The new system supports paperless banking with secure connections. SASE combines network management with security features for better protection.

The technology works through software instead of physical equipment. It connects bank branches securely for less money than older systems. MTN offers these services using equipment from global companies like Cisco, Huawei, and Fortinet.
