Muhoozi's UPDF flattens ADF camps in Ituri terror hunt

Ugandan and Congolese soldiers smashed terror camps across eastern Congo during a massive weekend attack. The joint forces hit hard at ADF fighters hiding around Mungamba and stretched their assault all the way to Lolwa. Military commanders from both armies worked together to surround the terrorists and cut off their escape routes. WhatsApp messages from local people showed just how badly the terror group got beaten. The operation left ADF positions completely destroyed across Ituri province.

The weekend strikes form part of Operation Shujaa that started back in November 2021. Ugandan and Congolese armies launched this campaign after ADF terrorists bombed Kampala and killed dozens of innocent people. The ongoing military push has crushed many rebel strongholds and made the region much safer for ordinary families. Terror attacks have dropped sharply since the two armies joined forces against ISIS-linked groups.

Local people in Ituri are cheering for the Ugandan soldiers who helped free their communities. Residents posted grateful messages praising the disciplined UPDF troops who protect civilians from harm. Many families said they finally feel hope after years of fear and violence from ADF killers. General Muhoozi Kainerugaba recently warned all remaining rebels that his forces would crush them completely. The successful operation proves that teamwork between neighboring armies can defeat even the most dangerous terrorist organizations.
