Mumbai cops bust Chhabra crew's fake cop content

Mumbai authorities charged four individuals on Wednesday for unauthorized content production in the Malad West neighborhood. Officers Devendra Thorat and Prashant Borkut discovered a white Bolero displaying Maharashtra Police markings outside Whispering Heights building after completing night shift duties. Anjali Chhabra identified herself as a content creator for Ritesh Kaul of Rose Audio Visuals and acknowledged lacking proper filming permits.

Police detained the crew at Bangur Nagar station after questioning revealed participants wore official uniforms without authorization. Investigators registered cases against Chhabra, Kaul, Rishi Saxena Ramesh and Mudassir Sarwar Shaikh under sections 205, 223 and 3(5) of the BNS. Authorities are examining whether Kaul maintains legitimate ties to Rose Audio Visuals, the production company established by Goldie Behl. Officials confirmed that filming in public spaces without permission and misusing police insignia constitute criminal offenses under current regulations.
