Murkomen Storms Embu for Lightning Fast IDs

Interior CS Murkomen stopped at the Embu Regional Immigration office on Friday during his safety forum tour. He ran a county security meeting as part of his safety push. He saw good teamwork between locals, government staff, and police who help catch planned attacks early. He said fighting terrorism needs true love for the country and thanked officers for their work to keep Kenya safe.

He watched how workers helped people at the office and liked its smooth running. Visitors told him they felt happy with fast service and friendly staff. People can pick up their travel papers in three days, just like at the main offices. He also checked ID sign-ups and found that first-time card seekers pay nothing and wait just seven work days. He traveled with top officials such as Deputy Inspector Lagat, Commissioner Rotich, and Police Chief Naibei.

They joined him on day one of his county visit. Murkomen talked with many locals and looked at different service desks. He spent time with both adults and children who came for help with papers. The tour showed his interest in how public offices run and serve Kenyans.
