Musk Mars Starship Frenzy Set to Fire Off 1000 Rockets

Musk talked about his company's giant rocket plans at their Texas location. The Starship rocket stands as the biggest one being built anywhere. SpaceX wants to send people to Mars for the first time. The company builds a new factory that will make these rockets faster. They want to create a thousand rockets each year.

The rocket's bottom part can land and fly again within one hour. After it lands, workers fill it with fuel for about forty minutes. SpaceX can put another rocket on top and send it up again. The company also makes huge satellites that are as big as passenger planes. They plan to build ten thousand of these satellites every year.

The new rocket engines have been tested three hundred times. These engines work better and break down less often. Future rockets will have nine of these engines instead of the current number. SpaceX delayed some important tests until next year because they need more time. The company hopes to catch the upper rocket part later this year.

SpaceX plans to send five robot missions to Mars within two years. These missions will carry Tesla's walking robots to help explore the planet. Each mission will test new technology for human trips later.
