Mystery Surrounds Highlanders CEO Interviews After Sudden Postponement

Highlanders Football Club faced trouble when they canceled important job interviews at the last minute on Friday morning. Three people showed up to interview for the CEO position but had to wait around for almost an hour before learning the meeting was off. The club said someone in leadership lost a family member and they needed to postpone everything.

The CEO job has been empty for three months after Brian Mowhile got suspended. He was accused of making money from player transfers that should have helped the club instead. Kindman Ndlovu has been doing the CEO work temporarily since then.

The club needs a strong leader badly because they are not doing well in games and are behind schedule for their 100th anniversary party. Three candidates came to the office but two others could not make it that day. Some important board members were missing which made holding interviews impossible.

People who came for interviews felt angry about how the situation was handled. One club member said it looked unprofessional and wasted everyone's time. The person wondered if the other two candidates somehow knew ahead of time that interviews would not happen.

Highlanders has always struggled to find the right CEO even though they run things properly with regular meetings and financial records. The club still depends on random donations rather than building solid business partnerships. Nobody knows when new interviews will take place.
