Naija Faves Rule AAEA Music Awards

Nigerian artists grabbed most prizes at the 2025 Africa Arts Entertainment Awards. AAEA officials shared the results through their official channels. British-Nigerian performer Darkoo earned Best Diasporan Act with the "Favourite Girl" remix featuring Rema. Burna Boy claimed the Overall Male Artist in Africa title. Tyla became the Overall Female Artist plus Best Female Artist in Southern Africa. Tems received recognition as Best Global African Female Artist. OdumoduBlvck became Best Rapper West Africa according to voters. Seyi Vibez celebrated winning Best Male Artist West Africa as fellow Nigerian Ayra Starr accepted Best Female Artist West Africa.

These awards honor music creators across the entire African continent. The ceremony highlighted Nigerian dominance in current African music.
