Nana B Predicts NDC Will Lose Public Support by End of 2025

Opposition party leader Henry Nana Boakye thinks Ghana's ruling government will lose voter support before 2026 arrives. The New Patriotic Party official believes citizens will become unhappy with broken campaign promises. Boakye made these statements during a radio interview on Wednesday. He expects the National Democratic Congress to face public anger over poor leadership decisions. The politician predicts his party will win the next presidential election.

Boakye claims the current administration has started making serious mistakes that upset voters. He says government leaders have failed to keep important promises made during their campaign. The NPP organizer wants to show people these policy failures before the next voting period. His party plans to start working early to prepare for the 2028 contest. Opposition members will point out problems with current government programs.

President John Mahama cannot seek another term because constitutional rules limit presidential service to two periods. The ruling party must choose a different candidate to represent them during the next election cycle. Both major political groups will select new leaders before 2028 voting begins. The NPP scheduled January 31, 2026 as their candidate selection date. Party officials believe this early preparation will help them defeat their opponents.
