Tanzania dropped treason charges against cosmetics seller Jenifer Jovin, better known as Niffer, and Mika Lucas Chavala after prosecutors told the court they had no plans to keep the case going. Senior Resident Magistrate Aaron Lyamuya approved the request from State Attorney Titus Aron and let both defendants walk free.
