Nine killed, over 60 injured in separate road accidents across Sindh and Astore

Two road accidents across Sindh province claimed nine lives and injured more than sixty people on Sunday. A passenger bus rolled over near Thatta Bypass, killing six travelers and wounding twenty others. Emergency responders transported victims to local medical facilities while moving the deceased to Karachi for storage in Orangi Town. A second crash occurred when a speeding passenger coach flipped on the National Highway near Gambat in Khairpur district. Three passengers died and over forty sustained injuries, with women and children among the casualties.

Medical staff at Gambat Hospital treated the wounded victims from the highway incident. Police reports indicate fifteen people remain in critical condition following the coach accident. Rescue teams continue recovery efforts from an earlier tragedy where twenty-six wedding guests perished after their bus plunged from Thalichi Bridge into a river. Only one passenger, the bride named Malaika, survived the bridge collapse incident. Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Tariq confirmed fourteen bodies were recovered and taken to the Astore District Headquarters Hospital.
