Nintendo revealed details about the Vi-O-La motorcycle featured in Metroid Prime 4: Beyond through an article on its Japan website. The vehicle includes three primary capabilities: Boost accelerates speed and destroys obstacles, Power Slide eliminates enemies across a wide area, and Projectile fires tracking shots that lock onto five targets before returning. Players can summon the motorcycle only in designated areas of the planet Byrus, and dismounting returns control to Samus for standard exploration. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond launches on Dec. 4, 2025, for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 with enhanced graphics options of 4K at 60 frames per second or 1080p at 120 frames per second.
