Nintendo Switch 2 Sells Like Hotcakes, 5M Units Still Unconfirmed

Nintendo Switch 2 fans got fooled when fake sales numbers appeared online yesterday. The gaming company told analyst David Gibson that the 5 million June sales figure was just test data. Gibson works for MST and shared the news on social media after checking with Nintendo directly. The numbers had nothing to do with real sales or future predictions for the popular gaming device. Daniel Ahmad from Niko Partners believes 5 million would be way lower than actual sales anyway.

Gibson thinks Nintendo will announce 5.4 million units when they release official results next month. The Switch 2 already proved its popularity when it sold over 3.5 million units during its first four days on store shelves. Customers around the world want more systems than Nintendo can make right away. Supply shortages have left many gamers waiting for their chance to buy the new console.

Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa said sorry to investors about the supply problems during a recent company meeting. He promised the company is working hard to make more gaming systems as fast as possible. The Switch 2 launched worldwide and earned great reviews from gaming experts. Chris reviewed the system and called it a major improvement over the original Switch in every way possible. Nintendo keeps pushing to meet the huge demand from eager gamers everywhere.
