Nvidia delays GeForce RTX 50 Super series to Q3 2026

Conflicting information has emerged regarding Nvidia's plans for its GeForce RTX 50 Super graphics card lineup. Hong Kong publication HKEPC reported on Monday that the company informed its add-in card partners about pushing the series launch from the first quarter to the third quarter of 2026, though Nvidia denied canceling the product line entirely. Rising GDDR7 memory costs have been cited as a potential factor in the scheduling change.

However, Taiwan-based technology outlet Benchlife disputed both the cancellation and postponement claims. The publication noted that board partners have not received any design specifications or technical documentation for the RTX 50 Super series as of this month, suggesting that reports about launch timelines lack substance. Industry leaker Zed Wang questioned whether major memory manufacturers, including Hynix, Samsung, and Micron, actually raised DRAM prices.

With the Consumer Electronics Show approaching in two months and no technical details shared with manufacturing partners, analysts suggest the RTX 50 Super family will likely arrive later in 2026 if the project proceeds.
