NWFL warns clubs of sanctions over registration deadline

Nigeria's top-tier women's football competition has cautioned multiple clubs about potential penalties, including relegation, if they fail to satisfy digital registration and licensing requirements before an approaching cutoff. Castmog Ladies, Osun Babes, and Naija Ratels remain incomplete in their administrative submissions through the league's online portal, designed to enhance professionalism and transparency.

Chief Operating Officer Modupe Shabi emphasized that extensions will not be granted and stressed that all participating teams must demonstrate compliance with minimum operational standards. The league administration confirmed its intention to enforce regulatory measures strictly to maintain competition integrity and ensure a smooth season launch.
