Old Mutual ignites spirit of service

Old Mutual Malawi celebrated International Customer Service Week in October with raffles and appreciation events for clients who visited branch locations. The financial services company marked the annual observance with workplace activities that highlighted its dedication to client satisfaction and employee recognition.

Sophie Nkonjera, the firm's Customer Experience Executive, stated that the campaign demonstrated a commitment to transforming lives through quality service. She noted that staff members had completed training through the CX Master Class program to enhance their interaction skills with empathy and efficiency.

The global initiative takes place each year to honor customer service professionals and strengthen business relationships. This year's theme, "Mission Possible," emphasized how passion and teamwork create better client experiences across various industries.

Old Mutual used the week to acknowledge employees in customer-facing positions for their professionalism. The company stated that it focuses on resolving complaints quickly and transparently, while helping clients achieve their financial goals.
