Asser Marungu, age 48, died on a farm in Oshikoto, Namibia, on Monday evening. He was hit by lightning.

A lightning bolt struck Marungu as they ran. He died instantly at the scene.
Marungu's body was moved to a hospital in Tsumeb. It is being kept in the mortuary there. An autopsy will be done.
