Safety features include emergency alerts and location sharing capabilities, with coverage providing up to 100,000 taka in protection for both drivers and passengers. Customers paying through Pathao Pay can receive as much as 10 percent cashback on their next three CNG trips, capped at 300 taka total and 100 taka per journey, during a promotion running from Oct. 29 through Nov. 27.
The platform launched in 2015 and reports serving more than 10 million users across Bangladesh. Its network encompasses 300,000 drivers and delivery personnel, 200,000 merchants and 10,000 dining establishments. The company states it has generated more than 500,000 employment opportunities while operating services spanning ride-hailing, meal delivery and logistics.
