Patron blames Zimbabweans for out of control veld fires

Zimbabwe's Environment Patron and Wildlife Ambassador has called on citizens to help prevent the rising number of veld fires threatening the nation's natural resources. The ambassador urged Zimbabweans to stop starting fires at bus stations, through land clearing, hunting, or by carelessly discarding cigarette stubs. Communities should adopt sustainable land use practices rather than burning grass and trees to protect wildlife and preserve natural resources for current and future generations.
