Police Arrest 25 Suspects in Narcotics Operation in Mamponteng

Police caught 25 people selling drugs during a surprise raid in Mamponteng. Officers searched the area from morning until evening and found suspects with illegal substances. The operation happened on June 13 and targeted places where people normally buy and sell narcotics. Two women joined 23 men who got arrested during the police sweep.

The suspects range from 19 to 50 years old and come from different backgrounds. Police found drug packages hidden with the arrested people during searches. Officers discovered 57 wraps of a drug called Amnesia and dozens of pills. They also took scissors and other items used for drug dealing.

Police said they wanted to stop drug sales in the Mamponteng area. The arrested people are being questioned to find out who actually sold drugs. Those who broke the law will face court charges after police finish checking the evidence. The successful raid shows police efforts to fight drug problems in local communities.
