Police investigate series of brutal deaths in Nairobi and Nakuru

Police officers started looking into a death after someone found a man's body near train tracks opposite Buruburu. People called Lungalunga Police Station around 9:30 am on July 20, 2025 to report what they saw. Officers and detectives from Makadara came to check the scene right away. The man appeared to be about 35 years old and was lying face down with rocks around him. He had serious head wounds and blood was coming from his nose, ears, and mouth.

A bloody stone was lying close to the body and police think someone used it to hurt the man. Crime scene workers took pictures and collected evidence before moving the body to Nairobi City Mortuary. Doctors will examine the body to find out how he died and who he was.

Nakuru County detectives are working on several strange deaths that happened recently. Someone discovered a woman's body parts near railway tracks at Maili Mbili village on June 17, 2025. Only her head and chest remained because her arms and legs were missing.

Police also found Pius Morebu dead beside a walking path connecting two roads on June 16, 2025. The 32-year-old man had fresh marks around his neck when people discovered him early that morning. These unsolved cases worry many people and show why police need to work harder to catch the killers.
