Prophet Makandiwa Challenges to Reveal Pocket Contents

Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa from United Family International Church started a social media buzz with his Million Dollar Challenge. A Bible expert warned Makandiwa that he might be falling for Satan's tricks. Makandiwa asked regular folks, traditional healers, and other prophets to prove their abilities. He offered a million dollars to anyone who could correctly name what he placed in his pocket.

Makandiwa admitted he would need to borrow this money if someone won his challenge. He invited people from Nigeria, Kenya, and Uganda to participate. He explained that the test would be straightforward with no prayers involved. The challenge simply requires someone to identify an object he puts in his pocket, after which he would sign an agreement making the offer legally binding.

He offered to pay travel costs for foreign participants who wanted to attempt his challenge. Participants must pay back these expenses if they fail the test. The purpose behind his challenge is to reveal how many people lie about having special powers. Religious leaders and followers showed mixed reactions to his public dare.

Bible scholar Fungai Maponga spoke against Makandiwa despite respecting him as a teacher. Maponga believed Makandiwa should have tested false prophets without offering cash rewards. He mentioned how Jesus faced temptation from Satan but answered using God's words instead of material things. Maponga thought Makandiwa acted impulsively when creating this challenge.

The scholar described the offer as going against Bible teachings because it focuses on money. He questioned how Makandiwa differs from fake prophets when both use financial rewards. Maponga dramatically called the promised money itself evil, saying one evil force cannot remove another evil force. His comments added fuel to the growing debate about spiritual authority.

Prophet Passion Java responded by making his counter-challenge to Makandiwa. Java posted he would bring a disabled person who would walk again and offer Makandiwa ten million dollars. Another prophet, Miracle Paul, warned people about trying to win the money. He suggested participants might lose their abilities afterward if they attempted the challenge.

Many supporters defended Makandiwa despite these criticisms. One woman compared him to the prophet Elijah, who confronted false prophets in biblical times. She hoped Makandiwa would expose fraudulent spiritual leaders. When reporters tried to discuss this matter with Makandiwa, his spokesperson refused all interview requests.

Prophet Prime Kufa, speaking for Makandiwa, explained that many news organizations had called about the challenge. Kufa stated that Makandiwa felt his original statement covered everything necessary. The prophet believes his social media post provided all the needed information about his million-dollar offer and requires no further explanation.
