Benin head coach Gernot Rohr picked 25 players for the big games against Zimbabwe coming up soon. These matches count toward making it to the 2026 World Cup. The first game happens on March 21 at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban, far from home. Then the team travels to Abidjan in Ivory Coast to face South Africa on March 25.
The team includes young talent Candas Fiogbé who plays for Atalanta's under-20 side in Italy. Unfortunately, Aiyegun Tosin and Cédric Hountondji cannot join because they got hurt.
