Russell, three others face FIA for Singapore cheating probe

Four Formula 1 drivers received summons from FIA stewards after qualifying on Saturday at the Singapore Grand Prix for possible infractions related to yellow flag procedures. George Russell, Yuki Tsunoda, Gabriel Bortoleto, and Nico Hulkenberg face questioning after Pierre Gasly abandoned his Alpine at Turn 11 because of hydraulic failure. Officials deployed yellow flags at the scene, but drivers completed their laps through the affected sector at reduced speeds.

All four summoned competitors improved their lap times, and only Bortoleto failed to advance to the second qualifying segment. Stewards dismissed a separate investigation against Lance Stroll after reviewing the Aston Martin driver's conduct. The hearing results could affect grid positions for the race at Marina Bay Circuit.
