Workers have almost finished building a new road in Rwanda. They have paved 67 kilometers between Kibugabuga and Gasoro. This road helps people travel between the Eastern Province and Southern Province. The builders say they will finish everything by March 2025.
People can already drive on this new road. It lets them travel between two big cities without going through Kigali, which is Rwanda's biggest city. This makes their trips much shorter. Before this road was built, people had to use dirt roads that became very muddy when it rained.

He says the old dirt road made traveling very hard, but the new road will make his trips much easier. Another person, Divine Kubwimana, owns a business nearby. She thinks the new road will help her sell more things because people can reach her shop more easily.
