RWMC and Pakistan Railways to combat pests in Rawalpindi trains

The Rawalpindi Waste Management Company signed a partnership agreement with Pakistan Railways to enhance cleaning services across train stations and railway coaches. Chief Executive Officer Rana Sajid Safdar and Rawalpindi Division Superintendent Noorudincluding Dawood completed the formal agreement at the company headquarters. Senior management from both organizations attended the signing ceremony to witness this collaborative effort. Chief Financial Officer Bilal Khawar and Metro Manager Sohail Imtiaz represented the waste management company alongside Divisional Mechanical Engineer Jawad Shah from the railway division.

This partnership expands cleaning operations beyond traditional platform maintenance to encompass comprehensive coach sanitation and pest elimination programs. Railway passengers will benefit from improved hygiene standards and enhanced travel comfort through these expanded services. The agreement establishes systematic cleaning protocols for both stationary facilities and moving train cars. Officials expect this collaboration to create safer transportation conditions while addressing passenger concerns about cleanliness during rail journeys. The initiative represents a significant step toward modernizing Pakistan's railway passenger experience through professional waste management practices.
