Samsung's S26 Ultra RAM makes the Galaxy S25 look pathetic

Samsung prepares major memory enhancements for its Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone following recent industry leaks. Tech enthusiasts anticipate substantial improvements beyond the AI-focused Galaxy S25 series that preceded it. Renowned leaker Ice Universe reports the device will feature Micron's advanced LPDDR5X RAM operating at 10.7 gigabits per second. This represents a significant increase from the current 9.6 gigabits per second found in the S25 Ultra model. The upgrade stems from Micron's innovative 1-gamma DRAM architecture, replacing the previous 1-beta generation.

Enhanced power efficiency and superior multitasking capabilities result from this architectural advancement. Users will experience smoother performance during demanding applications without excessive battery drain. The Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor will likely power the S26 Ultra alongside these memory improvements. Competitive pressures force Samsung to establish new Android performance standards through better RAM and storage solutions. These combined enhancements position the company to deliver both extended battery life and peak processing power.
