Scholastica Expo 2025 returns to Bulawayo as ZITF Company revives stand-alone event

Zimbabwe International Trade Fair Company launches the standalone Scholastica Expo 2025 after more than ten years. The three-day event runs from July 30 to August 1 at Zimbabwe International Conference and Exhibition Smart City in Bulawayo. Officials expect 5,000 participants and approximately 50 exhibitors under the theme "Empowering Future Generations through Heritage-Based Education and Innovation." Forty exhibitors have already registered with additional spaces available. Marketing manager Thandolwenkosi Nkomo states that stakeholders requested a dedicated expo to address education sector challenges and career development needs.

The standalone format allows students and industry representatives to interact directly within the same venue. Previous editions during ZITF periods faced space constraints that forced some activities to external locations. Minister Frederick Shava will deliver the keynote address on Thursday during the official opening. The expo features career talks, workshops, seminars, and mock interviews for both high school and university students. Organizers aim to align Education 5.0 principles with Vision 2030 goals while connecting academic institutions with industry requirements.
