SDA Church builds second university in Chegutu with key faculties

The Seventh-Day Adventist Church started building another university in Chegutu town. This marks their second higher education project across Zimbabwe. The new campus plans to offer engineering, law and medical programs when construction finishes.

Engineer Bhovungane shared the news on social media platform X. He posted updates about the ongoing building work at the site. People responded with excitement about the development coming to Chegutu area.

Local residents see this as great news for their community. Many believe the university will bring jobs and business opportunities to the region. Students from nearby towns will have better access to quality education programs.

The church already runs Solusi University in Matabeleland South province. They operate many primary schools, high schools and health centers around the country. Their education network keeps growing each year.

The group also opened Adventist College of Education in Gweru during 2018. That school trains teachers and works with the University of Zimbabwe. Construction began back in 2015 before the official opening ceremony happened.
