Shabnur Set to Resume Shooting for Rongona After Lengthy Hiatus

Actress Shabnur has fans waiting for her comeback movie Rongona. The film crew finished about 60 percent of the shooting before everything stopped. Filming started back in April of last year but hit major roadblocks. Shabnur flew back to Sydney after wrapping her scenes in May. She has stayed away from Bangladesh for more than 14 months.

The star promised to return once she felt ready for more filming. Production was set to restart on August 8 last year. Political troubles across the country blocked her travel plans back home. Director Arafat had to push back the shooting schedule. He told reporters that December would mark their new start date.

Gossip spread fast about Shabnur backing out of the project completely. People started questioning whether she would ever finish the movie. The actress stayed quiet about her film plans for months. Worried fans began believing the worst rumors about her career. Shabnur finally spoke up on Facebook in January.

She asked everyone to ignore false stories about her work. The star warned people not to trust random claims about her movies. Five months passed without any shooting updates from the actress. Director Arafat recently announced November as their target date. He confirmed that Shabnur plans to return once her child finishes school abroad.
