Shai Sizzles 35 Thunder Snatch Win Tie NBA Finals

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led Oklahoma City Thunder back from a late deficit to beat Indiana Pacers 111-104. The star guard scored 35 points and helped tie the NBA Finals at two games each. Thunder trailed Indiana by seven points before the final quarter started. Oklahoma City outscored the Pacers 31-17 during the fourth quarter at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. The team finished with a 12-1 scoring run over the last three minutes.

Coach Mark Daigneault changed his rotation strategy and rested Gilgeous-Alexander late during the third quarter instead of early fourth. Indiana held a 101-97 lead with under four minutes left to play. Gilgeous-Alexander scored 15 of his team's final 16 points and made all 10 free throws. Jalen Williams added 27 points and seven rebounds for the Thunder. Alex Caruso contributed 20 points from the bench during the comeback victory.

Pascal Siakam scored 20 points to lead Indiana against the visiting Thunder. Tyrese Haliburton added 18 points but could not prevent the home loss. Siakam blamed poor execution and missed easy shots for the defeat. Game five moves to Paycom Center on Monday night. Oklahoma City hosts the next contest at 7:30 PM local time.
