Sharmeen S Murshid led a nationwide ceremony where thousands pledged to rebuild Bangladesh according to July Uprising principles. The Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs Adviser conducted the oath at Osmani Memorial Auditorium with virtual participation from all districts. Murshid described the gathering as a social contract rather than a simple assembly. She emphasized the July movement represented dreams of ending inequality and exploitation across the nation.
The adviser promised to deliver government services directly to disadvantaged communities through improved systems. Murshid announced zero tolerance for violence against women and children while promoting helplines 109 and 1098. She committed to creating an environment where women and children can live without fear. Dr Md Mahiuddin served as chairperson while Senior Secretary Mamtaz Ahmed attended as special guest.
