Siraj bags ICC Player of the Month after Oval heroics against England

The International Cricket Council awarded Mohammed Siraj the Men's Player of the Month honor for August following his exceptional bowling performance. Siraj secured nine wickets with a 21.11 average during the decisive Oval Test against England. His remarkable efforts helped India salvage victory from a challenging position and secure a 2-2 series draw. The fast bowler earned Player of the Match recognition after delivering 46 overs and claiming five wickets in the second innings. Siraj outperformed competitors Matt Henry from New Zealand and Jayden Seales from the West Indies.

The right-arm bowler participated in all five Test matches against England and finished as the series-leading wicket-taker. Siraj expressed gratitude for the recognition and praised his teammates and support staff for their encouragement.
