Most of the local party coordinators in Sissala East just threw their weight behind Bawumia for the NPP presidential nomination. The former VP got backing from 18 out of 21 electoral area coordinators, who apparently like how competent and humble he seems.
The party's picking its candidate at the end of January next year. Bawumia's going up against four other people, which means Kennedy Agyapong, Bryan Acheampong, Yaw Osei Adutwum, and Kwabena Agyapong are all in the race.
