The victories raised India's medal count to nine through three days of competition. Benedicton finished just 0.15 seconds behind Mussin's winning time of 23.74 seconds. Dhinidhi Desinghu and Shashidhara Rujula qualified for the women's 100-meter freestyle final but placed sixth and eighth.
