St Petersburg Plans UAV Factory Campus in Rybatskoye

St. Petersburg officials struck a deal with AN Invest Severnaya Stolitsa during the first day of SPIEF-2025. Vice Governor Kirill Polyakov and company CEO Denis Prikazchikov signed the agreement for a major industrial project. The company will build a new manufacturing site in the Rybatskoye district of the city.

The industrial complex will feature four buildings spread across three stories each. The total space will cover 103,000 square meters when completed. Workers will manufacture unmanned aircraft at the facility. The company also plans to rent space to other engineering businesses that make light and heavy equipment.

AN Invest expects to spend 10 billion rubles on construction costs alone. The total investment will reach 30 billion rubles over the project timeline. Company leaders say the remaining 20 billion rubles will pay for equipment purchases and production setup. They also need funds to attract tenant companies to the site.

Construction will begin sometime during 2025 according to current plans. The entire project should wrap up around 2030. Prikazchikov leads the effort to create jobs and expand manufacturing in the region. The facility represents a significant expansion of drone production capabilities in St. Petersburg.
