St Petersburg Sizzles as Thermometer Tops 24C

St. Petersburg stays hot and dry today. Weather expert Mikhail Leus from Fobos center says the anticyclone ridge controls the city's weather. Clouds will come and go but no rain will fall. Temperatures will climb above normal levels again. The region expects clear skies most of the day.

Daytime temperatures will reach 22 to 24 degrees Celsius inside the city. Areas around Leningrad region will see 21 to 26 degrees. West winds will blow at 5 to 10 meters per second. Air pressure will drop to 759 millimeters of mercury. Monday brings more warm weather without rain and temperatures staying at 22 to 24 degrees.
