The brother described Ibrahim as someone with substance abuse problems and connections to criminal organizations. Rubel claimed his brother-in-law subjected Synthia to ongoing physical violence and psychological torment throughout their relationship. He alleged that Ibrahim brandished a firearm at Synthia on Sunday and issued death threats against family members.
