The Inqilab Moncho group temporarily cleared its sit-in protest at the Shahbagh intersection in Dhaka to allow BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman to visit the grave of Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi. The group announced this move on its Facebook page, stating it shifted its demonstration to a spot in front of the Aziz Supermarket. They planned to return to the main intersection, also called Shaheed Hadi Square, later that same day. They called for a public gathering there to demand justice for Hadi's killing.
