Teacher Killed, Students Injured in Tragic Road Accident in Taita Taveta

A music festival trip turned deadly when a teacher lost her life in a car crash near Masai area. Several students from the same school got hurt and doctors rushed them to Mikindani Hospital for emergency care. The teacher had been traveling with her students to attend the music event when their vehicle crashed. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and worked to save everyone they could. The accident left the entire school community shocked and heartbroken.

Jomvu MP Badi Twalib Bady heard about the tragedy and went straight to the hospital. He met with the injured students and their worried families during his visit. The politician promised to pay all hospital bills for every student who got hurt. He also visited Mikindani Comprehensive School to comfort upset parents and staff members. Bady told everyone to stay strong and wait for more news about the victims.

Kenya battles serious problems with dangerous roads that kill many people each year. Around 3,000 people die in crashes annually across the country. These accidents cost the nation between 3 and 5 percent of its total economic output. Transport officials have increased their efforts to catch dangerous drivers and unsafe vehicles. The government continues spending money to fix roads and make them safer for everyone who travels.
