Three arrested in Abuja drug raid with large haul of illicit substances

Police captured three people suspected of selling illegal drugs during raids across Abuja. Officers arrested Ahmed Lawal, Joy Josiah, and Sule Nuhu on June 23. The arrests happened at Limpopo Street near Dutse Alhaji and behind the MTN office at Maitama. Police acted on tips about drug dealing activities at these locations. The operation targeted known crime areas around the capital city.

Officers found dried leaves they believe are Indian hemp during the searches. Police also discovered sachets labeled Ghana Loud and Arizona. They seized several tablets of a substance called Moly. The recovered items will serve as evidence against the suspects. Authorities documented all seized materials for court proceedings.

The arrests are part of a bigger effort to stop drug crimes across the Federal Capital Territory. Police want to reduce drug abuse and trafficking throughout Abuja. The three suspects remain locked up at police stations. Investigators are questioning each person about their activities. The cases will move forward to prosecution after police complete their work.
