Troops foil Boko Haram abduction attempt in Kombla, Adamawa

Security forces prevented extremist militants from capturing civilians during an overnight assault on Kombla community within Madagali Local Government Area. Operation Hadin Kai personnel collaborated with police officers and regional task force members to repel the attack that began at approximately 12:45 AM on Sunday. Fifteen armed insurgents attempted to seize residents from Krichinga District before encountering fierce resistance from government troops. The coordinated defensive response compelled the attackers to retreat through surrounding wilderness areas without achieving their objectives. Military units continue hunting the escaped militants while strengthening protective measures across the region.
