Two motorcyclists were killed in separate accidents in Muar and Kota Tinggi

Three motorcyclists perished in separate accidents across Johor as authorities investigate both incidents under transport safety regulations.

Two riders died when a chain-reaction collision unfolded on the North-South Expressway near Muar. A 20-year-old operator struck a truck's rear quarter panel before losing stability and sliding into adjacent traffic lanes, where two trailing motorcycles collided with him. The initial rider and a 24-year-old second victim sustained fatal head and torso trauma. Muar police chief Raiz Mukhliz Azman Aziz confirmed the nighttime crash involved four vehicles total.

Separately, a 75-year-old man riding a Honda Wave died after skidding on Jalan Waha while returning from morning prayers at Masjid Jamek Felda Waha in Kota Tinggi. Emergency responders declared him deceased at the roadside from severe cranial injuries.
