Valhalla DSP dropped version 5.0 of their freebie ValhallaSupermassive reverb plugin and threw in a fresh algorithm called Sirius. The new mode basically handles everything from small rooms to huge cathedral spaces and keeps things clear even when the decay goes on forever. Echo density can go from pretty sparse to absolutely packed, and the high-frequency rolloff sounds realistic depending on how you set the EQ.
The update also added previous and next arrows for cycling through the different modes without clicking around like a maniac. Sirius is apparently the workhorse algorithm people have been waiting for, since it works across basically any size space you need.
