Zimbabwe will host the first-ever "Voices That Rock Zim Awards" on July 11, 2025. The fancy black-tie event will take place at The Venue in Avondale, Harare. KComms Agency organized this celebration, combining modern awards with Hall of Fame honors. The ceremony marks a huge step forward for Zimbabwe's voice talent industry. It specifically celebrates voice-over artists, broadcasters, and presenters across the country.
Project manager Rumbidzai Peresuh from KComms Agency spotted a missing piece in Zimbabwe's entertainment awards scene. She noticed that other platforms like NAMA, Comic Awards, and Music Talent Awards recognized different artistic skills. However, vocal talent remained without proper recognition until this new event. The awards aim to lift those voices that entertain, educate, and bring brands to life across Zimbabwe. The ceremony includes 15 different award categories covering everything from radio excellence to international voice recognition. Another major highlight features 15 legendary voices entering the first-ever Hall of Fame for their contributions to Zimbabwean storytelling, culture, and heritage.
