KWS staff put out a fire at Nairobi National Park after it burned for 3 hours. People could see flames and smoke from far away.

The fire damaged 10 acres of parkland. No animals or people were hurt during the blaze.

The fire began near Kathangaita village in Mlolongo, which is in Machakos County.

Park rangers worked fast to stop the flames from spreading to other areas. They used several fire trucks and water pumps to fight the blaze.

Residents helped spot the fire early and called emergency services right away.
