Yeston rebadges RTX 50 cards with plain new designs

Yeston has grabbed a lot of media attention recently, especially with their Sakura Atlantis card design. This Chinese company makes custom AMD and NVIDIA gaming graphics cards, mainly for Chinese customers. Their unique Radeon RX 9070 Series offerings have become noticed worldwide. Yeston showed off GeForce RTX 50 Series Sakura and Game Ace designs around mid-January. However, that announcement didn't detail exactly what products would come.

According to VideoCardz today, Yeston has released new GeForce RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070 models in China. These cards have appeared for sale on the Chinese shopping site JD.com. The plain look of these cards will disappoint many fans who love colorful designs with anime-style illustrations. People quickly noticed that the Yeston Deluxe lineup just copies Gainward's GeForce RTX 50 Series Phoenix design. Tech reviewer W1zzard at TechPowerUp checked out the Gainward GeForce RTX 5080 Phoenix GS model about two months ago.

VideoCardz pointed out that Yeston has previously rebranded Gainward products. They did almost the same thing with the GeForce RTX 40 series cards, turning Phoenix models into Deluxe ones. The only difference between these partner brands is three fan stickers. Everything else stays the same, including the Phoenix text on the backplates and the RGB lighting on top. Yeston started teasing their new Deluxe lineup around mid-February on their Weibo social media account. They asked their followers if this was the card they had been waiting for.

Most potential customers probably want to buy the more elaborate designs that might come later. However, these customers are likely to save their money for those fancier options instead.
