Yogi Adityanath hands letters to 1,494 new UP Police recruits, hails fair hiring

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath distributed employment letters to 1,494 police telecom workers at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan on Sunday. The recipients comprised 1,374 assistant operators and 120 workshop staff members selected through Mission Rozgar initiatives. Adityanath declared that corrupt hiring practices from before 2017 have ended permanently. The state has recruited over 217,000 police personnel through fair processes since that time. This achievement represents the most significant recruitment numbers for any Indian state police force.

The new employees will strengthen police communication systems through technical expertise. Their selection follows the recruitment of 60,244 constables earlier this year through transparent methods. Training facilities have expanded dramatically from accommodating 3,000 personnel annually to handling over 60,000 recruits. Several appointees expressed gratitude for the fair selection process that recognized their abilities. The administration has created 850,000 government positions while facilitating 20 million private sector opportunities.
